Nargis Fakhri was born on the 20th of October, 1979 at Queens, New York City, United States to Mohammed Fakhri and Marie Fakhri. She is the younger sibling of Aliya Fakhri. Her mother Marie Fakhri and father Mohammed Fakhri are both from Czech. She was just 7 years old when their parents separated and, tragically she was able to lose both of the parents shortly thereafter. Her mother Marie Fakhri is a former police officer. Nargis believes she is an Global Citizen because of her mixed ethnicity between Pakistani and Czechs as well as her American nation of origin. The career of Fakhri began as a fashion model when she was 16. She was living with her boyfriend at the time in Copenhagen when she received an email stating that Imtiaz Ali wanted to meet her in Prague for the purpose of starring in an Indian film. Nargis Fakhri began dating actor Uday Chopra in 2014. The couple split in the year 2017. In May, 2018, she announced her affair with Matt Alonzo, an American filmmaker and editor. They split in 2019.
