Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father is British, and her mother was is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her perform in play rehearsals. As a young child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. Over the years following, she made the move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at a Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her husband in 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism in the year before Seth Cooperman and Anna had been married in December 2010 in Fredericton.
